Changzhen Wang
Welcome to my page! I am a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography at the University of Alabama (UA).
I received my PhD in Geography from Louisiana State University (LSU) under the direction of Dr. Fahui Wang!
Prior to that, I was a GIS project manager and developer at Wuhan Land Use and Urban Spatial Planning Research Center (WLSP). In the meantime, I served as a consultant at UN-Habitat in Nairobi, Kenya.
I obtained my Master’s degree in Cartography and GIS from Wuhan University, during which I was a research scholar at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. I received my Bachelor’s degree in GIS from Southwest Jiaotong University in Chengdu, China.
